Meet Our Customer Care Associate, Corrine Sawatsky
My first experience with hearing loss and hearing aids began when I worked as an office assistant at an independent hearing clinic in Calgary. Initially, I knew absolutely nothing about the industry but brought my work experience and customer service skills to the position, which helped me to become more comfortable and knowledgeable. The audiologists and hearing aid practitioners educated me on all things related to audiology, and I soon realized how much I enjoyed all aspects of the clinic. I realized how much I enjoyed helping others and assisting the clinicians in providing quality service to our hearing loss clients. I worked there for 9 years before relocating to Kelowna in 2015 and began working with Dr. Joyce Chen.
I very much enjoy working with people – young or old – and strive to make everyone feel comfortable and important when they walk into the clinic. As the voice on the telephone, or the first person a potential or current client sees, it is important for me to be pleasant, positive, and genuinely interested in others. Being in a small clinic atmosphere allows me to get to know our clients on a more personal level and create a wonderful bond with them.
Each and every day I look forward to my interactions with our clients as well as working with Joyce. I feel very blessed to work in such a positive environment where our client’s needs always come first. It is a great feeling at the end of each and every day to know that we are making a difference, and giving our clients all the tools to help improve their quality of life.
